Warranty Policy

WARRANTY POLICY --

SECTION 1 - WARRANTY ENACTMENT

For a warranty to be valid and acted upon for a purchase from JEWELv LLC, the customer must provide the following information for each time they wish to act upon the warranty provided:

  • Purchaser’s Full Name
  • Product User's Full Name
  • Full Address to which the product was originally shipped

SECTION 2 - TYPES OF WARRANTIES

One Year Warranty

- Every customer of JEWELv LLC is guaranteed a free one year warranty when they purchase a fine jewelry product from JEWELv LLC. The one year warranty of any fine jewelry purchase from JEWELv LLC begins 14 days after the piece was purchased from JEWELv LLC, and expires after 365 days from that date. This warranty only applies to fine jewelry products purchased from JEWELv LLC.


“Lifetime” Warranty

- If a customer reaches or exceeds Blue Diamond level of our Loyalty Program, they will automatically be enrolled in a “lifetime” warranty program for all fine jewelry purchases bought after this checkpoint is reached (including the purchase they made to reach said checkpoint). The “lifetime” warranty refers to the lifetime of a piece of jewelry purchased from JEWELv LLC, which in terms of this policy is quantified as 50 years after the purchase date from JEWELv LLC.


Please note that JEWELv LLC does not offer a warranty or guarantee of any kind for: earnuts, chain extensions, ring guards, jewelry packaging or organizers, promotional products, products not manufactured or assembled by JEWELv LLC, product add-ons other than jewelry, jewelry that has been altered by anyone other than JEWELv LLC,  gift cards or certificates, and coupon codes.


SECTION 3 - INSURANCE

We strongly recommend that all fine jewelry is insured under a homeowners or renters policy or an individual jewelry insurance policy in order to protect against loss, damage or theft. This warranty should not and will not act as a replacement or substitute for any type of insurance policy.


SECTION 4 - JEWELRY CARE

Fine jewelry should be cared for in accordance to our jewelry care section found in the knowledge base section of our website. Damages that occur when cleaning a jewelry product using a method that was not recommended on our website for the type of jewelry being cleaned, will not be covered within any JEWELv LLC warranty. We also strongly recommend that you have any fine jewelry pieces inspected for damage or wear at least every 6 months to ensure no major damage occurs and to reduce the chance of losing a gemstone.


SECTION 5 - REPAIRS & REPLACEMENTS

The following repairs and/or replacements may be covered under any of our warranty policies:

  • Tightening prongs
  • Retipping
  • Replacing a prong
  • Resetting a loose stone or one that has fallen out
  • Refinishing or repolishing
  • Replating of originally plated jewelry
  • Resizing of rings*
  • Removal of bracelet links (if possible)
  • Reshaping of distorted metal
  • Repair or replacement of jewelry findings such as jump rings, clasps, earring posts, or earring hooks.
  • Replacement of originally set gemstones valued at time of purchase (by retail industry average) below $500 USD.


SECTION 6 - PROCESS TO REPAIR OR REPLACE PRODUCT UNDER WARRANTY

Customers that would like their purchased piece of jewelry to be repaired or replaced in accordance to this policy must follow these steps:

  1. Email info@jewelv.com with the problem you are having with the purchased jewelry piece, a description of the jewelry piece, and the information necessary to enact a warranty provided in Section 1 of this policy.
  2. Once you have received a reply that confirms that we will provide the repair and/or replacement needed in accordance to this policy, please package the jewelry into a safe shipping container that will prevent any further damages while in transport.
  3. Address the package to JEWELv LLC 3 Agawam Rd, Sharon, MA 02067 United States and adhere proper postage.
  4. Ship the package using either a trackable postage service and/or with insured postage.

Once the package arrives at our facility for inspection and repair/replacement we will send a notification to the sender via email.

Please note that JEWELv LLC will not pay for items to be shipped for inspections or work.

Failure to follow the steps above may lead to unanticipated charges or our inability to repair/replace your jewelry.


SECTION 7 - OWNERSHIP OF WARRANTY

Any warranty granted to customers by JEWELv LLC may not be traded, sold, bought, gifted, or otherwise transferred to another owner without the possession of the originally purchased fine jewelry piece and permission of the original purchaser of said fine jewelry piece accompanying such transfer. Any warranty received with purchase of a product sold by JEWELv LLC has no monetary value and may not be redeemed for money or store credit.


SECTION 8 - CHANGES TO WARRANTY POLICIES

You can review the most current version of our Warranty Policy at any time at this page.


We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of this policy by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes.


SECTION 9 - TERMINATING AN EXISTING POLICY

If for any reason JEWELv LLC deems the activity of a customer to be malicious or abusive towards JEWELv LLC or the warranty issued, JEWELv LLC reserves the right to terminate any warranty for any product purchased by said customer.

Also, if a piece of jewelry no longer exists in the original form in which it was purchased (excluding repair work done by JEWELv LLC) JEWELv LLC reserves the right to terminate any warranty for the purchased piece in question.

Termination of any warranty policy will be documented via email to the original purchaser of any piece in question.

* Resizing may not be provided for every style of ring offered from JEWELv LLC. Additionally, rings that can be resized may only be resized once and up to 2 ring sizes from its original size. Rings with engravings may still be eligible for resizing, but may come at the sacrifice of the engraving (customers will be notified in this case, and the resizing will not be done before their written approval).
